Part-Time Registered Physiotherapist Position (one year contract, Maternity leave coverage)
FreeForm Physio & Pilates would like to welcome a part-time Registered Physiotherapist (with a minimum of 3 years experience) to the team. The therapist will be working on their own, opposite hours to the owner, with 865 sq ft at their disposal. The prospect needs to be independent and comfortable taking on a small administrative role as there are no front desk employees at the clinic. Although it is not necessary, training or a special interest in IMS/dry needling, concussion/vestibular therapy, running rehabilitation and clinical Pilates would be preferable. FreeForm Physio & Pilates is a movement focused physiotherapy clinic located downtown Squamish. Our mission is to help individuals discover the root cause of their pain and optimize their movement so they can continue to enjoy an active lifestyle, injury free. The space was created to be fun, relaxed and welcoming to all in the community. We strive to collaborate with each patient, and together, explore movement to determine areas of dysfunction. Looking at the person as a whole, the end goal is to help each client refine their form and free their movement.

The Space:
FreeForm Physio & Pilates is located downtown Squamish on Third Ave, steps away from Estuary Trail and close to well-known landmarks such as the Grateful Gift Shop and Cliffside Cider
There is private undercover staff parking, and three designated parking spots for clients (as well as lots of street parking availability)
The clinic is wheelchair accessible
There is one private treatment room with an electronic high-low table, an open gym area with a variety of exercise equipment, a room dedicated to clinical Pilates with a Merrithew V2 Max Reformer (with a mat Convertor and Tower attachments) and a Merrithew Wunda Chair, a small kitchenette and bathroom
The clinic space was thoughtfully designed, with the aim to create a novel physiotherapy experience, one that is relaxed, fun, and inspires movement.
The Clientele:
FreeForm caters to all of the Squamish community; yogis, dog walkers, athletes, weekend warriors, you name it!
Our clients are active and enjoy movement in the outdoors; they are proactive and are keen to learn more about their body to prevent injuries from occurring in the future.
Clients are drawn to the specialities that FreeForm offers and can sometimes have concussions, vestibular issues or running injuries; or they are interested in participating in clinical Pilates based rehabilitation
The age ranges widely, roughly from 15-80 years
FreeForm does not take WorkSafe or ICBC claims
The Owner:
Karen was born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario
She completed her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto in 2014. Prior to this, she graduated with magna cum laude from the University of Ottawa in 2012, receiving a Bachelor of Science with a specialization in Human Kinetics.
Karen has taken a number of additional courses, helping her to specialize in concussion and vestibular rehabilitation, running injuries and clinical Pilates
