The FreeForm Communicable Disease Plan has been prepared based on the guidelines provided by:

BC Provincial Health Authority | WorkSafeBC | BC Centre for Disease Control | The College of Physiotherapists of BC

As COVID-19 vaccinations have become widely available to British Columbians, the overall risk of COVID-19 transmission and serious consequences has diminished. Despite this, the virus will still circulate like other communicable diseases.

Every client and visitor will be asked to comply with the infection control procedures while at the clinic.

The below Communicable Disease Plan is based on the latest available guidelines and is subject to change as new information becomes available.

  • We have allotted time between each of our clients to properly clean all surfaces involved in client care within the treatment room, and disinfect any gym equipment that was used during our sessions.

  • We will be following strict hand hygiene and disinfectant/cleaning protocols using only products approved by Health Canada to be effective at deactivating the virus and preventing spread of COVID-19.
