The Person

Karen is an Ontario girl who fell in love with the mountains and ocean. She is a travel junkie, and has been lucky enough to explore bits of Southeast Asia, India, Europe and Central and South America. Driving down forest service roads, hiking and camping in this beautiful province is her passion. She has recently taken up dirt biking which she finds both terrifying and exhilarating. You can find her on the trails riding a Honda 250F named Rosetta. Karen enjoys any conversation about travel, music, books, and outdoor activities - oh and dogs, always show her a picture of your dog.

When it comes to my clients, I always give it my all. I am honoured to be a part of someone’s rehabilitation journey.

Karen is a life long learner and believes in evidence-based practice. Karen ensures that the treatment she provides is current, effective and safe.

Kathrine Stolborg, B.Pt

The Professional

Kathrine graduated as a physiotherapist from University College Copenhagen in 2018. Her background in gymnastics led her to become a physiotherapist. She strives to support people in building a strong and durable body which allows them to continue doing what they love. After an exchange stay at the University of Alberta, Kathrine realized she wanted to work as a physiotherapist in Canada. While working towards getting authorized in Canada, she worked as a strength and mobility coach. Kathrine’s main modalities as a practitioner are exercise and functional movement as she believes this will provide the best long-term results for her clients. Kathrine has further education in functional range mobility and as a sport and fitness instructor. When she is not offering physiotherapy at FreeForm, you’ll find her teaching classes and workshops in functional strength and mobility.

The Person

Kathrine is originally from Denmark and has been living in Squamish since 2018. Her love for the outdoors is what drew her to this beautiful mountain town. Since moving to Canada, Kathrine exchanged her passion for gymnastics with all the activities Squamish has to offer. When she is not working you’ll most likely find her hiking or running the trails with her dog, mountain biking, snowboarding, or bouldering. Whenever she needs to recharge her batteries, she enjoys spending time in the kitchen trying out new or old recipes or immersing herself in a good book.

I truly enjoy supporting people in their recovery process, and witnessing my clients’ growth is what motivates me to continue improving my skills as a physiotherapist.
