Emma Aqvilin, BPT

The Professional

Emma graduated with her Physiotherapy degree from Karolinska Institute in Sweden in 2019. Emma is dedicated to helping her clients feel and move better. Her treatments include different manual therapy techniques, meaningful exercises, education and self-management strategies. She has experience working with both the athletic and general population from busy clinics in Whistler and the lower mainland. She holds certifications in dry needling/IMS, vestibular therapy, and pelvic floor therapy. She also continues to provide on field physiotherapy coverage for games and practice with the Whistler Wolves rugby team.

The Person

Emma is from Sweden (hence her melodic accent). She grew up loving the outdoors and spent most of her time horseback riding, where she competed up to a national level in horse jumping. In her spare time, Emma is routinely travelling the globe in search of the best surf breaks. When not at work or on a surfboard, you can find her hiking, trail running, and snowboarding in the mountains. If being treated in Squamish by Emma or her husband, there's a good chance you will be lovingly leaned against by their dog Otis; a gentle 120 lbs floof.
